What is Psychological Assessment?
In a psychological assessment, a clinician uses a variety of assessment tools to form a comprehensive understanding of your teenager’s characteristics. Tools might include interviews, observation, questionnaires or physiology measures.
The clinician’s evaluation is similar to how your teen’s family doctor would use various tests to assess and diagnose them.
The results of a psychological assessment can be used to diagnose your teen and inform a treatment plan that centres their wellbeing.
